      Pre-population of Weight and LBH to Orders

      Pre-requisities for reducing Weight Mismatches

      In order to reduce weight mismatches, user shall ensure

      1. Product weight, packaged weight, packaged box is correctly updated against the Products in the catalog
      2. LBH is correctly updated against the Shipping Package
      3. Product and Box details are correctly entered during order create/ship

      Pre-populating Weight and LBH to Orders

      If the above three steps are adhered, Delhivery shall pre-populated Weight and Dimensions against the orders to fetch accurate details during manifestation and thus reducing Weight Mismatches due to incorrect weight declaration.

      Single Order Create

      User can create a single Order by

      1. Selecting Product details (SKU and Quantity) and Shipping Package used to ship the order - weight and dimensions shall be pre-populated to order based on aforementioned logic
      2. Entering manual Weight and LBH - user entered details will be used for calculating shipping cost and deducting money from Wallet during manifestation.


      Bulk Order Create via CSV Upload

      User can create bulk Orders via CSV upload by

      1. Entering Product details () and Shipping Package (Associated Box Name) - weight and dimensions shall be pre-populated to order based on aforementioned logic
        1. If user is using an existing Product - user only needs to mention Item Sku Code, Item Sku Name, Quantity Ordered, Unit Item Price
        2. If user is creating order against a new Product - user can mention the additional details during this CSV Upload - Packaged Product Weight (gm), Product Weight (gm), Discount Type, Discount Value, Tax Class Code. A new product will be created with the mentioned details
      2. Entering manual Weight and LBH - user entered details will be used for calculating shipping cost and deducting money from Wallet during manifestation.
      Exception Handling for Manual Orders
      1. User shall always enter either Associated Box Name or enter manual L, B, H during CSV Upload. If user enters both, we will ignore the box and use manual LBH entered against the order.
      2. If user enters a box Name that is not available, order will be created with default LBH. User has to update Box or enter manual LBH before shipping the order.


      Order Create via Online Channel Sync

      Orders created via online channel sync

      1. If order has an existing Product - weight and dimensions shall be pre-populated to order based on aforementioned logic.
      2. If order has a new Product - weight coming from channels will be used for calculating shipping cost and deducting money from Wallet during manifestation.
      Exceptions Handling for Channel Orders
      1. User shall maintain weight and dimensions on Delhivery One. There shall be no automated sync of weights between Catalog in Channel (Shopify/WooCommerce) and Delhivery One.
      2. Shipping Package shall only be pre-populated if the channel order has single SKU, single Quantity. For rest other orders, either user can ship with only weight or update Box details and ship.
