2. Transactions during a shipment lifecycle journey.

In a standard scenario, the transactions in a shipment lifecycle journey are below.

  1. Deduction during Manifestation - An estimated shipping cost is displayed while you create an order. We estimate the shipping cost based on the provided weight and the zone where the shipment should be delivered. As and when you manifest the shipment on Delhivery One, the estimated amount is initially deducted from the Delhivery wallet.

  2. Deduction during shipment In-transit - If we find a discrepancy in the weight manifested by you v/s weight captured by Delhivery, then the initial deduction done at the time of manifestation is refunded. Once the refund is processed, we will make a fresh deduction of freight charges based on the weight & zone captured by Delhivery.

  3. Refund after delivery - When the shipment is successfully delivered {Forward, RTO or DTO}, we refund the initial amount deducted at manifestation to the Delhivery wallet.

  4. Final deduction post delivery Once the refund of the initial deduction is processed, based on the final weight of the shipment & the zone, a final freight charge against the shipment is deducted from the Delhivery wallet. Unless you raise any weight/zone dispute, we shall make no further deductions against the delivered shipments.
